Ebookers launches cruise channel

Ebookers claims to have become the first of the big online travel agents to offer a full cruise retail channel.

Hosted by US company Viva Voyage, the site features 23 lines and 203 ships, and offers "live" expert advice.

Ebookers said it offered real-time pricing and availability, online and over the phone after-sales care.

Ciaran Lally, ebookers managing director, said: “The cruise market is changing and is predicted to grow by 12% annually over the next five years. 

“So we are especially excited that ebookers has moved fast to become the first major travel website with a cruise offering.”
 
Lines featured on the site include Royal Caribbean, NCL and Costa Cruise. It offers best price guarantee under which ebookers will refund the difference of a better offer.
