Holiday Autos adds interactive road mapping

Holiday Autos has added an interactive road mapping service to its website.

The online service allows customers to familiarise themselves with resort roads before they arrive at their holiday destination. Customers can use the "flight mode" to "drive" their proposed virtual route online.

The 3D maps cover more than 1,000 destinations worldwide, including airports and major resorts. Petrol stations and Holiday Autos outlets are marked on the maps.

Stuart Nassos, managing director of Holiday Autos, said: “I am delighted we have become the first car hire company to be able to offer its customers such an interactive mapping service.

“Unlike most online maps, holidaymakers will be able to really familiarise themselves with resort roads before even getting into the rental vehicle.”
