Wayn.com goes mobile

Travel and lifestyle social networking site Wayn.com ("Where are you now") has launched a mobile service allowing users to research people and places from their phones.

Users will be able to check their messages, account and profile from their phone, while also being able to look up local services, find people based in the same location and update their status and where they are.

Matt Jerwood, director of business development at Wayn.com, said: “Our name says it all. 'Where Are You Now?’ should be available anytime, anywhere to allow people to make the most of where they are now, whenever ‘now’ is, and wherever ‘where’ is.”

This is the first mobile-specific version of Wayn and follows on from being ranked by Nielsen Netratings as the seventh most popular site accessed from a mobile phone in the UK.
